    WARDEN — A new pump station seven miles northeast of the city will provide irrigation water to nearly 10,500 acres of farmland. The EL 47.5 station was dedicated Thursday afternoon, May 27.     EAST WENATCHEE – A Pasco woman was not injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on state Highway 28 east of the city about 9:45 p.m. Sunday night, May 30. Silvia Garcia, 32, of Pasco, was westbound on the highway between Rock Island and East Wenatchee in her 2013 Ford C-Max when another vehicle ran a stop sign at Nile Road and struck her, the Washington State Patrol reported.
