PASCO — A Kennewick woman is facing a series of traffic citation after crashing her car this morning, Aug. 19, on northbound Fourth Avenue. Rayann M. Elhakim, 20, was cited for multiple infractions after losing control of her 2008 Chevrolet Colbalt and crashing into a concrete barrier at about 7 a.m., the Washington State Patrol said. CONNELL — A Kennewick man was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:06 a.m. this morning, Aug. 19, on U.S. Highway 395. Jay M. Ehlers, 56, was taken to a Pasco hospital for treatment of his injuries, the Washington State Patrol reported. Ehlers was northbound on the highway about 3 miles north of Connell when his 2000 Mercedes 230 rear-ended a pickup truck towing a cargo trailer, the patrol said.
