    PASCO – Franklin County voters are backing President Donald J. Trump tonight in his re-election bid. A preliminary tally shortly after 8 p.m. showed 56.92% of local voters were supporting President Trump and his running mate, Vice President Mike Pence.     PASCO — Embattle Franklin County Commissioner Lowell "Brad" Peck appears to have survived a challenge from a Democrat and from within his own Republican party. Preliminary results from tonight's general election show Peck leading Democrat Kim Lehrman and write-in Republican Steve Bauman in the District No. 1 race.     SPOKANE VALLEY — Liberty state supporters have a new champion in Olympia following yesterday's general election. Republican Rob Chase of Spokane Valley will be filling the 4th Legislative District seat being vacated by Rep. Matt Shea.     COLFAX — Incumbents Sen. Mark G. Schoesler and Rep. Mary Dye are leading the races for 9th Legislative District positions.     PASCO — Republican political newcomer Rocky Mullen is well on his way to being a Franklin County commissioner. After Tuesday night's initial tally of ballots, Mullen had a comfortable 16,364-10,657 vote lead over Democrat Ana Ruiz Peralta.
