ELTOPIA — A Moscow, Idaho, man was taken to a Pasco hospital earlier today, Aug. 12, after his vehicle veered onto the U.S. Highway 395 shoulder and flipped.
According to the Washington State Patrol, Theodore V. Jarrett, 27, was cited for second-degree negligent driving in the crash near Milepost 35 at 10:11 a.m.
Jarrett was southbound on the highway when his 2003 Subaru Legacy left the roadway and overturned, the patrol said.
He was wearing a seatbelt and neither drugs nor alcohol are considered factors, the patrol said, noting driver fatigue caused the crash.
1st Choice towed the vehicle from the scene.
