RITZVILLE – High school athletic training camps began again this week, after the Washington Interscholastic Athletics Association opened up the coaching window from now through the end of November.
"Starting Monday, we are fortunate and excited to be allowed to do some of these activities like we did in July," Lind-Ritzville Athletic Director Greg Whitmore said Oct. 6, adding there were still lots of details to work out.
He said Session 1, which began Monday, Oct. 12, will run for about two weeks, with outdoor sports going first to take advantage of favorable weather. The practice times begin after school and will run an hour to 90 minutes.
Whitmore said State and County Health Department Guidelines will be followed.
