Cable Bridge Run set for Dec. 19-20

PASCO — The 42nd annual Lampson Cable Bridge Run will take place in person Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 19 and 20.

The event includes 1 mile, 5k and 10k races, with waves starting at 9 a.m. each day.

The races start and finish in Riverview Park, 1524 W. A St.

The 1-mile route goes from the park to the bridge and back, organizers said. Finishers will receive a prepackaged snack and a water bottle.

The 5k route will loop over the Cable Bridge and back spanning the Columbia River between Kennewick and Pasco, organizers said. The 10k route includes the bridge as well as a run along the river.

In addition to the in-person run, a virtual option will be available.
