Say goodbye to Stevens Middle School today

PASCO - The School District is hosting a "Farewell to Original Stevens" today from noon to 4 p.m. at Stevens Middle School, 1120 N 22nd Ave.

The celebration as reconstruction occurs on campus.

According to School District officials, visitors will be able to visit the main entrance and library of the old school building, and walk the main hallway "one last time."

Classrooms, the gymnasium and cafeteria are closed to the public, officials said.

School officials are limiting access to small groups and requiring masks to enter.

This is the last opportunity to visit the original building before demolition, officials said, noting a new athletics field complex will built on the site.
