Troopers search for man who fled crash

RICHLAND — Troopers are looking for a man who fled the scene of a June 4 crash that involved a Pasco woman.

According to the Washington State Patrol, Deyma Garibay, 42, was eastbound on Interstate 182 when she swerved to avoid debris in the roadway and struck a concrete barrier near Milepost 3 at about 12:44 p.m.

Garibay had a male passenger at the time of the crash, the patrol said, noting he fled the scene.

Garibay was taken to a local hospital, the patrol said. Neither drugs nor alcohol were a factor in the crash.
