Roundabout construction delayed

OTHELLO — It’s going to take another year or two before a proposed roundabout is constructed at the State Highway 17 and Cunningham Road intersection.

The state Department of Transportation announced last week that the project scheduled to be complete this year won’t be finished until 2024 or 2025.

The project is current in the design phase, officials said, noting engineers are currently working on lane design, utility relocations and costs.
