Lind Alumni Banquet reunion set

LIND — The annual Lind Alumni Banquet luncheon will take place Saturday, May 6, at Lind-Ritzville Middle School, formerly Lind High School.

The 1 p.m. program will be in the gymnasium, 507 N. E St.

This year’s honored classes are: 60 years, Class of 1963; 50 years, Class of 1973; 40 years, Class of 1983; 30 years, Class of 1993; and 20 years, Class of 2003.

Honored class photos are scheduled for 12:30 p.m., and will be followed by lunch

provided by Rollin’ Coal Barbecue.

Tim Smith, Class of 1982, will serve as emcee of the event. And Jerry Knodel, Class of 1973, will provide the invocation.

The Virginia Moorman Moore, Lind Alumni and the Jackson David Weaver scholarships will be presented during the banquet to Lind-Ritzville High School seniors graduating this year.

Reid Weaver, Class of 1979, will announce the Jackson David Weaver Scholarship winners; the scholarship is in memory of his son.
