Auditor seeks writers for ballot measures

PASCO – The Franklin County Auditor’s Office is seeking individuals interested in writing statements “For” and “Against” measures for the Feb. 13 special election Local Voters’ Pamphlet for the following districts:

• Fire Protection District 2 - Proposition 1

• Kahlotus School District - Proposition 1

• North Franklin School District- Proposition 1

If the Auditor’s Office did not receive both “for” or “against” committee appointments by Dec. 30, Revised Code of Washington 29A.32.280 directs the Auditor’s Office to seek out and appoint up to three committee members for unfilled positions.

Only Franklin County registered voters can apply to write the statements.
